Job Position : PIPELINE DESIGNER
Location : Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pipeline route layouts, alignment sheets, pipeline profiles, and overall plot plans.
- Develop 3D models for offshore pipelines, tie-ins, field layouts, and subsea structures.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings including Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, isometrics, and support details.
- Coordinate with pipeline engineers to incorporate stress analysis, wall thickness, and material specifications into design.
- Prepare pipeline crossing drawings, trenching/backfilling drawings, and installation engineering support deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with international offshore pipeline standards (DNV, API, ISO).
- Review vendor drawings and interface with multidisciplinary teams (Structural, Mechanical, Subsea, Process).
- Support offshore installation planning, including spool drawings, as-built updates, and revision control.
- Perform design checks, clash checks, and ensure model completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain document control and follow project drafting/design procedures.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of design experience in Offshore Rigid Pipeline projects.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools: AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS/E3D, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of DNV-ST-F101, API, and offshore pipeline design codes.
- Experience preparing offshore pipeline deliverables from concept to detailed engineering.
- Ability to interpret engineering documents, P&IDs, specifications, and installation procedures.
