Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in piping stress analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAESAR II.
  • Good understanding of piping design and flexibility requirements.
  • Knowledge of applicable piping codes and standards such as:
    • ASME B31.3
    • ASME B31.1, where applicable
    • API 610 / API 617 interface requirements
    • MSS SP-58 / SP-69
    • Project/client-specific specifications
  • Understanding of piping supports and their interaction with piping systems.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, piping GA drawings, isometrics, equipment drawings, and plot plans.
  • Good knowledge of static analysis and basic understanding of dynamic analysis.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, LNG, refinery, or power projects.
  • Experience with large EPC projects and international clients.
  • Knowledge of NozzlePRO or equivalent local stress analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with AutoPIPE is an advantage.
  • Understanding of piping vibration, slug flow, PSV reaction forces, water hammer, and other dynamic loading conditions.
  • Experience coordinating with international engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
