Description
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of experience in the plumbing industry, with a strong background in installing and maintaining piping systems. The role requires the ability to work with various materials and tools while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste disposal systems.
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
- Install and maintain plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Test installed systems for leaks and other malfunctions, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with other trades and construction teams to ensure proper installation of piping systems in various projects.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pipe fitter, with **2-10 years of experience** in the field.
- Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and materials, including PVC, copper, and steel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations in India.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including construction sites.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
