Ping Engineer

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge ofAuthentication, Authorization, Federation, SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, OIDC.
• Expertise inPingFederate, PingDirectory, PingAccess, PingOne MFA.
• Strong experience withIDP connections, Adapters, Selectors, Fragments & Policies.
• Ability to performlog analysis.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience and strong knowledge inIAM,PingFederate, andPingDirectory.
• Onboard applications toPingFederateusing multiple protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and manage configurations.
• Implement and supportSSO, authentication mechanisms, and integrations across tools/products.
• TroubleshootPingFederate-related issues(authentication failures, integration errors), performRCA, and implement long-term fixes.
• Handle operational activities:certificate renewals, production implementations, environment testing post-POC, and resolve complex operational issues.
• UsePostmanandSwaggerfor API testing and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance withsecurity policies and standardsacross IAM environments.
• Manage onboarding for different protocol types.
• Perform deployment activities across all environments.
• Create and maintainknowledge documents, SOPs, and process guidesfor onboarding, troubleshooting, and operations.
• Work directly with customers in aglobal delivery model, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
