Job Description

Pilot Research & Outreach Associate

Global Youth Learning Initiative | Remote | Short-Term Contract / Internship-Style Role

We are building an emerging global education initiative focused on future-ready learning experiences for high school students and early undergraduates. The initiative has already completed successful pilot sessions and is now preparing for its next phase of student research, school/community outreach, and international pilot expansion.

We are looking for a dynamic, aspirational, resourceful, and highly driven Pilot Research & Outreach Associate who can help us collect meaningful student insights, identify potential research participants, and build early connections with schools, community organizations, youth groups, and education-focused networks.

This is not a passive internship. We are not looking for someone who waits for detailed instructions or treats the role as a resume decoration. This is a demanding early-stage opportunity where speed, ownership, communication, and follow-through matter every week.

For the right person, this can become a serious global opportunity. Proven success may lead to larger international assignments, country or region-level coordination opportunities, and the possibility of becoming part of the early core team.

What You Will Work On
  • Collect qualified student survey responses from relevant student groups.
  • Help identify students who may be suitable for short research conversations.
  • Support scheduling of selected student interviews.
  • Research schools, community organizations, youth groups, educators, and relevant institutional contacts.
  • Conduct initial outreach through appropriate channels such as email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, student groups, and community networks.
  • Track outreach activity, responses, follow-ups, and opportunities in a structured format.
  • Help identify possible pilot workshop opportunities through schools and community organizations.
  • Share regular updates on what is working, what is not working, and where traction is emerging.
Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Dynamic, aspirational, and self-driven.
  • Street-smart and able to figure things out independently.
  • Strong in communication and follow-up.
  • Comfortable with research, outreach, and organized tracking.
  • Curious about education, youth development, global learning, and future skills.
  • Persistent without being careless or pushy.
  • Practical, energetic, and solution-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced early-stage environment.
  • Accountable for results, not just effort.
This Role May Suit You If
  • You are a college student, recent graduate, early-career professional, or someone with strong outreach ability.
  • You have experience in student clubs, volunteering, community work, school outreach, event coordination, research, or youth programs.
  • You have access to student, parent, school, college, or community networks.
  • You are comfortable starting with limited information, asking smart questions, and building momentum.
  • You want exposure to an early-stage global education initiative with real growth potential.

Formal experience is helpful, but not mandatory. Attitude, ownership, execution discipline, and communication ability matter more.

Engagement Type
  • Short-term pilot engagement.
  • Remote-friendly.
  • Flexible hours.
  • Initial duration: 6 weeks.
  • Milestone-based compensation with performance incentives.
  • Extension possible based on performance and project needs.
Expected Outcomes

Success in this role means producing real evidence and real opportunities, not just activity.

Key outcomes may include:

  • Qualified student survey responses.
  • Selected students identified for research conversations.
  • School and community contacts researched and organized.
  • Warm responses from relevant contacts.
  • Discovery calls or workshop opportunities created.
  • Clear tracking of outreach efforts and results.
Growth Potential

Strong performers may be considered for:

  • Larger global outreach assignments.
  • Region or country-level coordination responsibilities.
  • School and community partnership support.
  • Future paid project assignments.
  • Opportunity to become part of the initiative's early core team.

We are especially interested in people who can help us expand thoughtfully across different geographies and who can operate with maturity, speed, and accountability.

Important Note

Please apply only if you are ready for serious work, fast execution, and clear accountability. This is not designed for someone looking only for an internship certificate or a light resume add-on. We are looking for someone who wants to build, learn, contribute, and grow with a global opportunity from an early stage.

How to Apply

Please send a short note covering:

  1. Why this role interests you.
  2. What student, school, college, parent, or community networks you can access.
  3. Any relevant experience with outreach, research, events, student groups, schools, or community organizations.
  4. One example of a time you figured something out independently.
  5. Why you believe you can succeed in a fast-paced, accountability-driven role.
  • Please include your LinkedIn profile or resume if available.
