Job Description

We are seeking compassionate, qualified, and experienced Pediatricians and PICU/NICU Doctors to provide high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves diagnosing and treating various conditions, with a special focus on intensive care for neonates and critically ill pediatric patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, timely, and effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

General Pediatrician:

  • Conduct physical exams and assess the health of infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, injuries, and developmental disorders.
  • Provide preventive care including vaccinations and health education for parents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to provide holistic care.

PICU/NICU Specialist:

  • Provide intensive care to critically ill neonates and pediatric patients in NICU/PICU units.
  • Monitor vital signs, perform emergency interventions, and manage ventilator support.
  • Diagnose complex medical conditions and determine appropriate treatments.
  • Communicate with families regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and care procedures.
  • Participate in clinical rounds, emergency response teams, and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with protocols for infection control and patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Pediatrics (mandatory)
  • Fellowship or specialization in Neonatology (NICU) or Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) is highly desirable
  • Valid Medical Council Registration

Experience:

  • Pediatrician: Minimum 13 years of experience in general pediatrics.
  • PICU/NICU Doctor: At least 2 years in a NICU or PICU setting (level II or III).

Skills Required:

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
  • Empathetic communication with children and families
  • Team collaboration with nurses, therapists, and other doctors
  • Familiarity with modern pediatric equipment and electronic medical records (EMRs)
