Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Bengaluru South. The Physiotherapist will assess patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy programs focused on improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed physical assessments, delivering hands-on therapy, supervising exercise and gait training sessions, and using advanced rehabilitation technologies and neuromodulation equipment as appropriate. The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and preventive strategies, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes. The Physiotherapist is also expected to participate in case discussions, contribute to continuous quality improvement, and stay updated on current evidence and best practices in neurorehabilitation.
Qualifications
- Recognized bachelor's or master's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT or equivalent), with registration from the relevant professional council.
- Clinical experience in neurorehabilitation, preferably with patients who have had stroke, spinal cord injury, or traumatic brain injury.
- Proficiency in assessment and treatment of gait, balance, coordination, spasticity, and functional training for activities of daily living.
- Ability to safely and effectively use exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities within a rehabilitation setting.
- Comfort working with or willingness to learn advanced technologies and neuromodulation tools used in modern neurorehabilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and motivate patients and caregivers from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborative mindset to work closely with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and nursing staff.
- Good organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining clear, accurate, and timely patient records.
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and patient-centered care, with sensitivity to different abilities, ages, and cultural backgrounds.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning, attend trainings, and adopt evidence-based practices in physiotherapy and neurorehabilitation.
