About Merakicare
MerakiCare provides clinical care in people's homes — planned health services under Kavach and ongoing care management under Sahaara. Physiotherapy is one of our most-requested services. You will carry your own caseload of home-visit clients, assess and treat independently, and work as part of a care team of doctors, nurses and care managers who share each client.
What you'll do
- Assess each client at home — mobility, strength, balance, pain, fall risk, and what the home itself allows — and build a treatment plan around the client's own goals.
- Deliver sessions across orthopaedic, neurological, geriatric and post-surgical rehabilitation, adapting technique to what can safely be done in a home setting.
- Work to the treating doctor's inputs, and report progress back to the doctor and care team at regular intervals.
- Teach a home exercise programme the client and family can actually follow between visits, and check they are following it.
- Document every assessment, plan and session in the client's care record.
- Flag deterioration, red flags or unsafe home conditions early rather than working around them quietly.
- Contribute occasionally to team training and to our clinician-reviewed blog.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT); MPT preferred.
- Registration with a State Council / IAP membership.
- 2–5 years of clinical practice with independent treatment responsibility.
- Confident manual therapy and exercise prescription without clinic equipment.
- Able to counsel clients and families in Telugu, Hindi or English..
Desirable
- Geriatric experience — falls prevention, post-fracture rehab, Parkinson's, stroke, deconditioning.
- Prior home-care or ICU/step-down experience.
- Certification in dry needling, manual therapy or cardiopulmonary physio.
