Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist (Home Visit) role based in Bengaluru. The Physiotherapist will conduct home visits for senior clients, performing assessments of mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing individualized physiotherapy and exercise programs, providing prehab and rehab support, and guiding clients through safe movement and corrective exercises. The role involves educating clients and caregivers on home-based exercises, fall prevention, posture, and pain management, as well as coordinating with trainers or healthcare professionals as needed. The Physiotherapist will document progress, adjust treatment plans based on outcomes, and maintain professional, empathetic communication that supports dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT or equivalent), with valid registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
• Clinical experience in geriatrics, musculoskeletal, or rehabilitation settings, preferably including home-care or community-based practice.
• Strong assessment and treatment skills in mobility, balance, strength, flexibility, and functional rehabilitation for older adults.
• Ability to design and progress individualized exercise and rehab programs aligned with prehab, post-injury, and chronic-condition needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient, respectful approach to working with seniors and their caregivers.
• Comfort traveling across Bengaluru for home visits and managing a structured daily schedule of appointments.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition and lifestyle factors that support healthy aging is an advantage.
• CPR/Basic Life Support certification and familiarity with safety protocols for home-based care are preferred.
