About the Role

AP Guru is looking for a strong Physics Subject Expert / Tutor to deliver online Physics classes to students preparing for international curriculum exams.

Experience teaching IB, A Level, IGCSE, AP, CBSE, ISC, JEE, Olympiad, or undergraduate Physics is relevant.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging online Physics classes for IB, A Level, IGCSE, AP, and other international curricula.
Explain complex Physics concepts in simple, clear and intuitive ways.
Solve conceptual, numerical and multi-step Physics problems with students.
Use real-world examples, demonstrations and applications to develop students understanding of Physics.
Develop students problem-solving, analytical and mathematical skills.
Plan lessons and create teaching materials, practice questions and assignments.
Prepare students for curriculum-specific examinations and challenging Physics problems.
Identify students learning gaps and provide targeted support.
Adapt teaching methods according to each student's level and learning style.
Encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in lessons.
Track and report student progress, areas of difficulty and performance.
Build strong professional relationships with students and maintain a positive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong conceptual and mathematical understanding of Physics.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience teaching Physics at the high-school / pre-university / undergraduate level is preferred.
Experience with IB, A Level, IGCSE, AP, CBSE, ISC, JEE or Physics Olympiad is an advantage.
Ability to solve and explain challenging Physics problems clearly.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
Ability to simplify complex concepts and adapt explanations to different students.
Strong understanding of how students learn and ability to identify learning gaps.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
Comfortable delivering classes online using digital teaching tools.
