About the Role:
We are looking for a Physics SME with a deep understanding of university-level physics-Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Physics, and Thermodynamics. You will verify multi-step derivations, analyze equations, check physical intuition, and annotate conceptual vs calculation errors. The role focuses on producing accurate, clear, and high-quality physics reasoning datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate physics derivations and multi-step calculations across Mechanics, EM, Quantum, and Thermodynamics.
- Check the correctness of final answers, intermediate steps, units, and physical assumptions.
- Evaluate conceptual vs computational errors and annotate clear distinctions.
- Review solution reasoning for clarity, accuracy, and physical soundness.
- Produce gold-standard explanations, corrected steps, and reasoning chains.
- Collaborate with STEM reasoning teams to ensure consistency and rigor.
Skills & Experience Required:
- BSc/MSc in Physics or Engineering Physics.
- Strong command of analytical reasoning, equation manipulation, unit consistency, and physical intuition.
- Ability to interpret multi-step derivations, detect conceptual flaws, and break down physical arguments.
- Skilled in identifying reasoning gaps, incorrect assumptions, or inconsistent units.
- comfortable with multi-step derivations, conceptual explanations, and validating physical reasoning.
