Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Associate located in Kochi, Kerala. The Physician Associate will collaborate closely with medical teams to assist in the Surgical and Transplant ICU. Responsibilities include taking comprehensive patient histories, performing physical examinations, interpreting medical tests, assisting in treatment planning, and providing pre- and post-care support. The role also involves engaging in patient education and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in taking medical histories, performing examinations, and assisting in treatment planning
• Strong understanding of diagnostic tools, test interpretation, and medical documentation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and comfort diverse patient groups
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Possession of a Physician Associate certification or equivalent medical qualification
• Prior experience in a hospital setting or similar clinical environment is an advantage
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to compassionate patient care
