Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant / Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of Phreesia — including configuration, deployment, optimization, and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring Patient Access templates, Guided Scheduling, and Decision Trees, along with expertise in the Phreesia Campaign Module.

This role will be based out of our Hyderabad, India office and will support US-based clients, requiring availability during EST business hours. Candidates with a valid or prior US visa will be considered an added advantage.

You will play a pivotal role in gathering client requirements, translating workflows into functional configurations, and ensuring successful platform rollout and adoption across healthcare provider networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Phreesia implementation projects, including planning, requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
  • Configure and maintain Patient Access templates, Guided Scheduling workflows, and Decision Trees as part of post-implementation optimization.
  • Configure and customize Phreesia modules — including registration workflows, appointment scheduling, patient intake forms, and Campaign Module setup for targeted communications.
  • Work directly with clients to identify operational needs, map business processes, and design efficient solutions aligned with Phreesia's capabilities.
  • Conduct data mapping and integration activities with EHR/PM systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, Cerner, NextGen).
  • Develop and document functional specifications, configuration guides, and user training materials.
  • Support testing and validation of campaigns, templates, and workflows to ensure high data quality and user adoption.
  • Partner with internal Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback on configuration challenges and enhancement requests.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) on Phreesia — including Campaign Module, Patient Access templates, Guided Scheduling, and Decision Trees.
  • Deliver ongoing post-implementation support, troubleshooting configuration, template, or campaign logic issues.
  • Track project milestones and communicate progress with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Phreesia, preferably in a consulting or healthcare IT role.
  • Demonstrated experience with post-implementation configuration of Patient Access templates, Guided Scheduling, and Decision Trees.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Phreesia Campaign Module — including design, configuration, and deployment of patient communication campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of EHR integration, patient intake workflows, and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Proven ability to analyze business processes and translate them into scalable system configurations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work US EST hours from India.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification or advanced training in the Phreesia platform (if applicable).
  • Experience working with practice management systems or healthcare CRMs.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and campaign analytics reporting.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role within healthcare technology or SaaS implementations.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Valid or prior US visa is an added advantage.

Key Competencies

  • Client-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.
