We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in Travel API integration to join our team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with global distribution systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, or similar travel APIs for hotels, and holiday packages.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end modules using PHP and MySQL for travel portal systems.
- Integrate third-party travel APIs (flight, hotel, car rental, holiday booking, etc.).
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless API communication.
- Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Document integration processes and technical specifications.
- Work in coordination with product and design teams to deliver features on time.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PHP development (Laravel preferred).
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP-based Travel APIs
- Good knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Familiarity with structured database design and management (MySQL).
- Understanding of cloud hosting environments (AWS, cPanel, or similar).
- Prior work on B2C/B2B travel booking platforms.
- Availability for a full-time, short-term project (26 months).
