PHP Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer 10+ years based in our India operations to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and enhancing our application, developing new features in line with technical specifications, resolving bugs, and ensuring code quality through unit testing. This role requires close collaboration with our global engineering and cross-functional team members across different time zones.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deliver high-complexity features across both backend (PHP) and frontend (React or Vue.js) within a modular architecture.

- Diagnose and resolve existing bugs in the codebase in a timely and efficient manner.

- Write comprehensive unit tests (PHP Unit) to validate functionality and maintain code reliability.

- Refactor and optimise existing code to improve performance, maintainability, and security.

- Collaborate effectively with international stakeholders, product managers, and fellow developers.

- Produce clean, secure, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.

Technical Skills (required) :

- Expert-level PHP deep understanding of the language, performance considerations, and security best practices.

- Proficiency in React.js or Vue.js - ability to build responsive, component-driven frontend interfaces.

- Strong JavaScript knowledge, including modern ES6+ standards.

- Solid experience with an MVC or PHP framework (e.g. Laravel, Symfony).

- Good working knowledge of Git and collaborative version control workflows.

- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
