Role Description

SkillzenLoop is seeking a motivated PHP Developer Intern to join our backend development team. In this role, you will assist in building and maintaining the server-side logic for our web applications. You will work on enhancing website functionality, managing databases, and integrating user-facing elements. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of the LAMP stack and professional software development workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

Server-Side Development: Assist in writing clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code to develop new web features.

Database Management: Help design and manage relational databases using MySQL, including writing and optimizing queries.

API Integration: Assist in the development and integration of RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues to ensure a smooth user experience.

Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing components.

Requirements

Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.

Core Skills: Solid understanding of PHP fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Web Basics: Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Database Knowledge: Basic proficiency in MySQL and understanding of database normalization.

Frameworks (Optional): Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter is a major plus.

Tools: Basic experience with Git for version control.
