Role Overview:
Seeking a hands-on PHP Developer to act as a technical authority during application transition. The role involves application discovery, architecture analysis, vendor coordination and ensuring system stability, scalability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage application discovery across backend (PHP) and frontend components
- Analyze architecture, APIs, data models and system design
- Validate vendor documentation and drive knowledge transfer
- Identify technical debt, risks and dependencies
- Recommend pre/post-transition improvements
- Act as technical escalation point and guide engineering teams
- Review code, integrations and architectural decisions
- Collaborate with cloud and security teams for deployment and compliance
- Improve system reliability, performance and maintainability
Required Skills:
- 2.5+ years of experience with strong PHP backend development
- Experience with complex codebases, APIs and system architecture
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and database design
- Experience working with external vendors
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience in system transitions or migrations
- Exposure to AWS or cloud environments
- Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks
