Job Responsibilities:
- Backend Development with CodeIgniter: Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs primarily using PHP with a strong emphasis on the CodeIgniter framework. This includes creating the core functionalities for interactive websites, campaign microsites, and data management systems essential for experiential marketing.
- Database Management: Implement and manage efficient database structures using MySQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance for storing campaign data, user interactions, and analytics.
- Frontend Development: Develop highly responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery. You will be responsible for bringing creative designs to life, ensuring smooth user experiences for participants in our experiential campaigns.
- Code Quality and Optimization: Write clean, well-documented, optimized, and indented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Focus on performance tuning and maintainability to ensure our applications are robust and scalable for high-traffic events and campaigns.
- Web Standards and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Possess a strong understanding of the Document Object Model (DOM), HTML, and CSS. Ensure that all developed applications are visually consistent and fully functional across various web browsers and devices, providing a seamless experience for all users.
- Analytical and Troubleshooting: Utilize excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for live marketing activations.
- Version Control: Apply knowledge of SVN (Subversion) for effective code versioning, collaboration, and deployment processes within the development team.
- Third-Party API Integration: Implement and manage integrations with third-party APIs, such as Facebook, Twitter, and other social media or marketing platforms, to enhance campaign reach, data collection, and user engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to translate creative concepts into functional and impactful digital experiences.
Required Skills:
