PHP-Laravel Engineer at Cybage!

We are seeking a PHP Lead with strong expertise in Laravel to lead and mentor a development team while remaining hands-on in coding. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring code quality, guiding best practices, and supporting the team in delivering high-performance applications.

Mandatory Skills:

• 6+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Laravel framework.
• Solid knowledge of OOP, REST APIs, and common design patterns.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise on Docker.
• Good working exposure to frontend frameworks (Vue.js/React/Angular).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of PHP/Laravel developers.
• Remain hands-on with development, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
• Conduct regular code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Collaborate with the QA, manager, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Ensure best practices in version control, testing, and deployment are followed.
• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
• Encourage continuous learning within the team by sharing Laravel updates, tools, and techniques.
