Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and functionality.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Remains current on new tools, technologies and web design trends, including platforms and plugins as they pertain to graphics, social, and video
- Design pages within portal and populate with content (content will be provided)
- Collaborate with associated stakeholders to achieve best results in design, tagging, and overall UX
- Complete programming using languages and software products
- Study and establish connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers
- Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
- Creating front-end and back-end code that's extensible and reusable, tested for optimized performance both on the server and in the browser
- Providing support to users
Qualifications
- Develop using the newest technologies and methodologies including SASS, Vagrant, Docker, Grunt, No-SQL, and more
- Engineer effective tools for writers and readers to use, and more
- Proficient in working in a LAMP stack
- Experience with web hosting through Apache
- Working with task runners such as Gulp or Grunt, Ruby, Linux shell scripts
- Working with Google APIs and RESTful APIs
