Photos Collection Project - Manipuri (India)

TELUS International is seeking participants in Manipur (India) for an image data collection project. The task can be completed remotely from the comfort of your own home.

Summary:

Participants will capture HD photographs of various document types in MANIPURI using a smartphone or DSLR camera (300 DPI Resolution). The number of images to collect will differ for each language and document type.

Document Types Include:

Books, newspapers, receipts/bills, research papers, cards, passes/tickets, handwritten notes, forms/letters, medical reports/prescriptions, bank cheques, magazines/articles, and others as specified in detailed guidelines provided by the project team.

Diversity Requirements:

• Varying document dimensions
• Natural degradation (folds, creases, dust, yellowing, stains)
• Different lighting conditions
• Multiple camera angles

Timeline:

Expected Project Duration: November to end of December

Estimated time to complete the task: 2 to 5 hours (one-time)

Qualification path

Requirements:

To be eligible for the project you must meet the following criteria:

• 18+ years of age
• Located in Manipur (India)
• Native or fluent in MANIPURI
• Smartphone or DSLR camera with HD capability.
• Stable internet connection for the duration of the task.
• Good photography skills

Payment:

• 0.33 USD per QA approved task.
• This is an independent contractor opportunity.

Submission Requirements:

Each task consists of:

• One top-angle image of a unique document
• Four additional images from different angles (as specified in guidelines)
• Annotation responses to standard questions about image content
• Privacy compliance: Remove or obscure all personal information before submission
