About the role:
Roundglass PFC is actively seeking a driven and motivated content creator/producer/photographer to take up the role of Club's primary photographer. He/she will be responsible for end-to-end visual coverage of Punjab FC across First Team, Reserves, Academy, Development Centers and other supporting functions. This role goes beyond matchday photography to include storytelling across training, grassroots programs, and key club and organizational initiatives.
In addition, the role may require coverage across other Roundglass Sports disciplines, including hockey, tennis, and golf, based on calendar priorities and key events.
The role will also require intermediate videography and post-production capabilities, ensuring flexibility in capturing both photo and video content as per match and campaign requirements.
What you'll do:
- Photography (Primary):
- Lead photography coverage for First Team & Youth matches, training sessions, and club events
- Capture high-quality action, BTS, and candid storytelling moments
- Cover Academy, Youth Teams, and Development Centres on a regular basis
- Support coverage across Roundglass Sports disciplines (football, hockey, tennis, golf) as per calendar priorities
- Ensure strong composition, exposure control, and visual consistency aligned to brand guidelines
- Deliver fast turnaround matchday edits for real-time social and media usage
- Has knowledge of using Photo Mechanic/Adobe Bridge for batch renaming and meta-tagging of images
- Ensure all captured photographs and videos are uploaded to the designated repository within stipulated timelines, following defined folder structures, file naming conventions, and maintaining a clean, well-organized asset library
- Plan and execute photo shoots on ground, including setup, coordination, and capturing as per brief
- Videography (Secondary / Support Responsibility)
- Capture short and long-form video content during matches, training, and events when required
- Shoot interviews, vox pops, BTS, and fan engagement content
- Ensure proper framing, lighting, and basic audio capture
- Support quick edits for social-first formats (reels, short videos)
- Maintain a well-tagged and organized data repository, ensuring all assets are uploaded as per company guidelines and are easily accessible for stakeholders
- Camera and Equipment Setup:
- Ensure end-to-end set-up and readiness of all photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio gear, across matchdays, training sessions, and controlled shoots.
- Take ownership of portfolio-style photoshoots (player profiles, media day, sponsor shoots) with professional lighting setups, backdrops, and consistent framing standards.
- Optimize settings for varied environments (stadium lighting, indoor setups, outdoor fields) while ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and capable of delivering consistent, high-quality output.
- Matchday & Compliance (AIFF / League Mandate)
- Ensure mandatory coverage across all competitions as per AIFF/league requirements
- Coordinate with Club Media Officer and League Media Team for deliverables
- Provide timely images for social media, broadcast, and PR usage
- Adhere strictly to all club Football Operations protocols and travel guidelines during team movements, ensuring professionalism, discipline, and seamless coordination with the operations staff at all times.
- Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with Social, PR, and Marketing teams to deliver on content requirements
- Execute shoots in line with content planning in coordination with the Social/Content Manager
- Align with agencies for campaigns and sponsor deliverables
- Maintain a strong photo mix (horizontal + vertical) aligned to platform needs
- Support coverage of Roundglass Sports (Hockey, Tennis, Golf) and internal/office events as required
- Support and guide freelancers/junior resources when required
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sports photography experience with football club, with basic to intermediate videography skills
- Strong portfolio showcasing action, portrait (profile shoots), and storytelling content
- Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop; Premiere Pro/After Effects; CapCut Pro for quick-turn social edits)
- Solid understanding of camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio basics
- Experience with asset management platforms (Brandfolder/Box), including tagging and metadata management
- Strong eye for composition, framing, exposure, and colour consistency
- Ability to deliver high-quality output under tight timelines, especially during matchdays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure sports environment with travel requirements
- Ability to take direction while also bringing creative input and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and external partners
- Basic project management skills with ability to handle multiple shoots and priorities simultaneously
