Cruzio Studios is a Los Angeles based photography studio specializing in premier residential architecture and luxury real estate. Our work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, People, Robb Report, and other major publications.
We photograph high-end estates, architect-designed homes, and editorial-level interiors for top brokers, architects, designers, and developers. We are seeking a highly skilled full-time Photo Editor with strong architectural and interior editing experience to help us deliver world-class imagery.
Responsibilities
Image Management
- Download, organize, and manage RAW files according to our studios structured file-naming and folder system
- Maintain consistent Lightroom Classic catalogs and follow archival workflows
Photo Editing & Retouching
- Perform global corrections: exposure, color balance, contrast, white balance, leveling, and lens corrections
- Composite bracketed exposures (window pulls, multi-layer masking, sky replacement when applicable)
- Retouch and clean images: remove distractions, fix lines, patch details, and enhance textures while maintaining architectural realism
- Apply Lightroom Classic and Photoshop workflows with consistent, natural, editorial-grade outcomes
Advanced Architectural Editing Skills
- Perform precise vertical and horizontal alignment for interiors and exteriors
- Blend ambient and flash frames cleanly when applicable
- Execute color-accurate edits suitable for designers, architects, and editorial publications
Quality Control
- Review all exports at 100% zoom for artifacts, alignment issues, halos, and color inconsistencies
- Maintain our brands visual style and ensure final delivery meets magazine-level quality standards
Delivery & Workflow
- Export final images for MLS, web, editorial, and high-resolution usage
- Upload final galleries to Pixieset
- Meet tight deadlines; same-day and next-day turnarounds are required
Collaboration
- Work directly with photographers to match the creative vision for each project
- Communicate clearly regarding missing assets, reshoot needs, or technical issues
- Maintain consistent availability during Pacific Time business hours
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of architectural composition, dynamic range, color theory, and lighting
- Ability to composite multiple exposures using clean, accurate masking techniques
- Experience editing luxury interiors or real estate at a professional level
- Strong perspective correction skills (verticals, horizontals, distortion)
- Ability to maintain a clean, natural, editorial-quality aesthetic
- Organized workflow and the ability to handle high-volume image sets
- Strong communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with Pixieset, Google Drive workflows
- Familiarity with Western visual trends in luxury & architectural real estate
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position (40-50 hours per week)
- Remote work with required Pacific Time overlap
- Compensation dependent on experience and portfolio
