Key Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Business Development & Onboarding Trend Scouting & Acquisition: Monitor social media trends (Instagram/Facebook) to identify viral D2C brands (e.g., Streetwear, Co-ords). Cold-pitch founders and secure first-to-market sign-ups. Commercial Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end commercial funnel, including contract terms, margins, and final sign-offs. Own the onboarding workflow (KYC verification, catalog mapping, portal integrations).
  • Brand Incubation & Account Scaling Launch Hyper-Care: Deliver intensive 30-day support post-launch to ensure immediate GMV traction, zero early cancellations, and deep stock availability on high-demand launch SKUs. Listing & Visibility Optimization: Partner with brands to optimize search keywords, image quality, and secure site-wide event banners or placements. Cohort Graduation: Identify Rising Star brands using performance metrics and seamlessly transition them into steady-state account management frameworks.
  • Seller Operational Performance & Health SLA & Compliance Management: Track Ready-to-Ship (RTS) windows, investigate Order Defect Rate (ODR) spikes, and implement 4-week Seller Improvement Plans (SIP) for underperforming accounts. NPS & Return Governance: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on customer returns (RTO) and customer feedback to separate logistical bottlenecks from product quality issues. Tiering & Penalties: Manage Gold/Silver/Bronze performance tiers to incentivize excellence and govern fair penalty implementation and appeal processes.
  • Smart JIT (Just-In-Time) Business & Operations Model Evangelism: Pitch and transition premium D2C brands from warehouse storage to a capital-efficient, drop-ship JIT model. Operational Orchestration: Conduct warehouse feasibility audits and ensure 100% of JIT orders are processed within the strict 24-hour hub window. Logistics & Efficiency: Coordinate with field teams to eliminate missed pick-ups. Apply Pareto Analysis (80/20 rule) to identify and correct the top drivers of JIT operational delays.
  • Planning, Analytics & Executive Reporting Break down Annual Operational Plans (AOP) into daily/weekly targets and use historical data to forecast supply constraints for flagship events (e.g., EORS). Maintain dashboards to establish a Single Version of Truth across NMV, GMV, Ads, and RTO data. Conduct What-if scenario analyses for margin/pricing shifts and build data-heavy performance briefs for monthly CEO reviews.
  • Seller Experience & Support Ecosystem Resolve complex seller queries, tech bugs, and payment discrepancies within a 24-48 hour Turnaround Time (TAT). Manage the Vendor Protection Fund (VPF), monitoring and eliminating fraudulent claims while resolving genuine dispute claims. Represent seller paint points in internal Product/Tech roadmap meetings to simplify the Seller Central UI/UX.
  • Core Buying & Inwarding Operations Inventory & PO Controls: Validate Open-To-Buy (OTB) allocations, generate Order Instructions (OI) and Purchase Orders (POs), and monitor delivery system slots. Stock Maximization: Resolve catalog errors, manage stock allocation (Rudo processes), and unblock Non-Live inventory to drive Hyperlocal and Top Seller Availability (OSA/TSR).

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Experience: 3–4 years of experience in E-commerce Account Management, Marketplace Operations, Brand Acquisition, or Category Management.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Fashion Management, or a related analytical field (MBA preferred).

Analytical Prowess: Advanced proficiency in Excel is mandatory. Hands-on experience with SQL and Tableau/PowerBI is highly preferred.

Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of negotiating with brand founders, national distributors, or enterprise clients.

Operational Rigor: Deep understanding of e-commerce supply chains, fulfillment models (Warehouse vs. JIT/Drop-ship), and SLA management.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
