Job Summary

We are looking for a Phlebotomist who will be responsible for collecting blood and other clinical samples safely and efficiently while ensuring proper patient care and accurate sample handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients using appropriate phlebotomy techniques.
• Ensure correct patient identification and proper labeling of samples.
• Handle, store, and transport samples as per laboratory protocols.
• Maintain hygiene, infection control, and safety standards during sample collection.
• Ensure proper disposal of needles, syringes, and biomedical waste.
• Interact professionally with patients and make them comfortable during sample collection.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collected samples.
• Coordinate with the laboratory team for timely processing of samples.
• Report any issues related to sample collection, labeling, or transportation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area and equipment.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: DMLT / B.Sc MLT / relevant phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Freshers to 2 years of experience in phlebotomy or sample collection.
• Good knowledge of blood collection procedures and basic infection-control practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-friendly attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
  
  

Compensation

CTC: 22,000 – 25,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
