Role Description This full-time remote Phlebotomist role is responsible for safely collecting blood and other specimens from patients at home or designated locations, following established protocols and infection control standards. The role includes verifying patient identity, explaining procedures in a clear and reassuring manner, preparing collection equipment, labeling samples accurately, and maintaining proper documentation. Phlebotomists will coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely specimen pickup, uphold cold chain integrity where required, and use digital tools for real-time tracking and reporting. Daily tasks also involve maintaining equipment hygiene, adhering to regulatory and company guidelines, and providing a professional, respectful experience for all patients. The role requires reliable communication with supervisors and colleagues, as well as consistent adherence to safety and quality procedures while working independently in the field.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Blood Collection techniques, including venipuncture and capillary sampling, with a strong focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Solid Laboratory Skills for specimen handling, labeling, storage, and adherence to pre-analytical quality standards.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and basic Medicine concepts relevant to phlebotomy and diagnostic testing.
- Experience or training in Medical Assisting, including vital signs, infection control practices, and patient interaction.
- Relevant certification or diploma in phlebotomy, medical laboratory technology, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate record-keeping, and ability to follow standard operating procedures consistently.
- Comfort with mobile applications or digital tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting sample collection activities.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with patients and internal teams.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and inclusive, non-discriminatory care.
