Role Description
Our lab at JSS AHER focuses on Computational Biology and Drug Discovery. Wherein we focus on dry and wet lab protocols for the purpose of Cancer Drug Discovery.
This full-time, on-site role based in Mysore is designed for PhD Scholars who aspire to pursue advanced research in their chosen field. Responsibilities include conducting innovative research, publishing high-impact papers, collaborating in interdisciplinary academic projects, and contributing to the academic community. The role involves attending seminars, engaging in departmental activities, and mentoring undergraduate or postgraduate students. The selected candidates will be mentored and encouraged to apply for scholarships by different funding agencies including JSS AHER, Mysore.
Qualifications
- Strong research capabilities, including planning, conducting, and analyzing scientific or academic research
- Proficiency in academic writing, data analysis, and presenting research findings
- Knowledge and experience in your chosen specialized research domain
- Ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and faculty members
- Commitment to innovation, critical thinking, and ethical research practices
- Master's degree in a relevant field, with a demonstrated academic or research background
- Proficiency in statistical tools, data visualization, or laboratory techniques, based on the research area.
