PhD Candidate

Yenepoya Research Centre (YRC), established in 2008, serves as a central research hub for Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, YRC supports high-quality interdisciplinary research to address contemporary challenges. Partnered with a 1150-bed charitable teaching hospital, YRC undertakes clinical research with high translational value and addresses unmet medical needs. Recognized by DSIR, SIRO, and the NSDC, YRC offers programs that enhance skills in the Life Science sector.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PhD Candidate located in Mangaluru. The PhD Candidate will be involved in designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and writing research papers. The role includes collaborating with researchers, attending workshops, and contributing to ongoing research projects. The candidate will also engage in interdisciplinary research, focusing on challenging medical needs and innovative solutions.

• Experience in designing and conducting experiments in laboratory settings
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation
• Proficiency in writing research papers and scientific communication
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
• Experience in conducting clinical research and working with animal models is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Master's degree in a relevant field of study; candidates with a strong interest in pursuing a PhD in life sciences are encouraged to apply
