Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PhD Candidate at the School of Planning and Architecture, located in Delhi, India. The role involves intensive research within the chosen specialization under the guidance of faculty advisors, contributing to scholarly knowledge through original dissertation work. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in teaching, publishing research findings in reputable journals, presenting at academic conferences, and participating in institutional events relevant to the research field.

• Strong academic background in Architecture, Planning, Design related disciplines;
• Proficiency in research design, data analysis, and interpretation of results;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for academic writing and presentations.
• Experience with academic publishing and familiarity with peer-reviewed journals;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment;
• Passion for innovation and contributing to the academic discourse in planning and architecture;
• Preference to Master's degree in Architecture/design with focus on Solar Architecture/Integrated design/Building cooling;
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as GIS, CAD, or statistical analysis software, is a plus.
