PhD Candidate

The PhD Candidate will be responsible for undertaking rigorous academic research and contributing to the advancement of knowledge within their chosen discipline. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting literature reviews, designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, preparing academic papers and reports, and participating in academic seminars and discussions. The candidate may also have opportunities for teaching assistantships and collaborative projects with industry or government partners. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata, India.

• Strong research skills, including the ability to perform detailed literature reviews and design research methodologies.
• Proficiency in data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, and academic writing.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting research findings and writing papers for publication.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and contribute to collaborative research efforts.
• A Master's degree in a relevant field with a demonstrated passion for research and innovation.
• Experience in utilizing software or tools related to the research discipline (e.g., statistical or qualitative analysis tools) is an advantage.
• Prior publications or presentations at conferences will be considered a plus.
