Responsibilities
- To manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy and ensure the safe, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in medication management.
Monitor medication inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock management.
Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements within the pharmacy.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure that patients receive the appropriate medication regimen.
Conduct training and orientation sessions for new staff members.
Review and update pharmacy protocols and procedures as necessary.
Ensure that all medication is dispensed in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Participate in quality assurance programs and initiatives to enhance pharmacy services
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and valid state license as a Pharmacist
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in pharmacy software and electronic health records.
