Job Title: Pharmacy Manager – Headquarters

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Manager to be based at our Headquarters in Thane. This role will be responsible for overseeing centralized pharmacy operations across all centers, including software management, reporting, inventory coordination, and query resolution. The position requires strong coordination skills and the ability to ensure smooth functioning of pharmacy processes across multiple locations.

The Pharmacy Manager will directly report to the Director – Pharmacy & Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Centralized Pharmacy Operations Management

  • Oversee and coordinate pharmacy operations across all 21 centers
  • Ensure standardization of pharmacy processes and compliance with company protocols
  • Monitor day-to-day activities and address operational gaps

2. Software & System Management

  • Manage pharmacy management software across all centers
  • Ensure accurate data entry, stock updates, and system usage
  • Coordinate with IT/vendor teams for troubleshooting and system improvements
  • Train staff on proper software usage and updates

3. Inventory & Stock Monitoring

  • Track and monitor stock levels across all centers
  • Ensure optimum inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
  • Coordinate with centers for stock transfers and replenishment planning
  • Maintain records of high-value and critical medications

4. Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
  • Analyze pharmacy performance, consumption patterns, and variances
  • Share insights and reports with management for decision-making
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records

5. Query Handling & Coordination

  • Act as the central point of contact for all pharmacy-related queries
  • Resolve issues raised by center teams in a timely manner
  • Coordinate between centers, vendors, and management
  • Ensure smooth communication across all pharmacy units

6. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with regulatory standards
  • Maintain proper documentation as per audit and legal requirements
  • Support internal and external audits

7. Vendor & Procurement Coordination

  • Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors for medicine supply
  • Track order status and ensure timely delivery across centers
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and rate negotiations

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and inventory management
  • Proficiency in pharmacy/ERP software systems
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Problem-solving and query-handling skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multi-location operations

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm)
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in pharmacy operations, preferably in healthcare or hospital setup
  • Experience in handling multi-location pharmacy operations will be an added advantage
