Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacy Assistant located in Madurai. The Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for assisting customers with prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks will include handling prescriptions, managing stock, and ensuring the timely restocking of pharmaceuticals. The role also involves effective communication with customers to fulfill their requirements and carrying out administrative tasks related to the pharmacy. Collaboration with the pharmacy team to ensure operational efficiency is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience with prescription management and understanding of pharmacy operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management and the ability to ensure accurate stock control.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and interact with diverse customers.
- Previous experience in pharmacy or a related field is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in pharmacy practice will be an advantage.
