Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Pharmacist to join our team at Spandana Hospital in Bangalore. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of prior work experience in a similar role. Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations.
- Skilled in medication dispensing (Mandatory skill), ensuring patients receive the correct medication in the right dosage.
- Experience in inventory management (Mandatory skill) to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software for managing patient records, prescriptions, and other relevant data.
- Ability to conduct patient counseling, providing information on medication usage, potential side effects, and health tips.
- Knowledgeable in drug utilization review to ensure prescriptions are appropriate, medically necessary, and cost-effective.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
