Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately to patients and healthcare providers.
• Provide counseling and advice to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety guidelines related to pharmacy operations.
• Manage inventory levels, order medications, and check expiry dates to prevent stock shortages or wastage.
• Participate in health promotion activities and educate patients about wellness and disease prevention.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Stay updated with new drugs, treatments, and pharmaceutical developments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
• Valid pharmacist license or registration as per regulatory authority.
• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy settings.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug formulations, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and pharmacy operations efficiently.
