Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. As a Pharmacist, you will dispense prescribed medications, ensure accurate prescription interpretation, manage inventory, and provide patients with appropriate guidance on medication usage and safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical and medical knowledge, including proficiency in prescription interpretation and medication dispensing
- Strong communication skills to counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and proper storage
- Attention to detail and accuracy for maintaining records, inventory management, and verifying prescriptions
- Regulatory compliance knowledge and ability to adhere to healthcare standards and safety protocols
- Problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities to work with healthcare providers effectively
- Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and basic computer skills
- Registered Pharmacist license required; Bachelor's or Diploma in Pharmacy preferred
- Prior experience in community or clinical pharmacy is a plus
