Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharma Formulations R & D – OSD (Nutraceuticals) professional based in Vishakhapatnam. The role involves designing and developing oral solid dosage nutraceutical formulations, including pre-formulation studies, formulation optimization, and scale-up activities. The professional will plan and execute laboratory experiments, perform compatibility and stability studies, and prepare technical documentation such as development reports and SOPs. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams (production, QA, QC, regulatory) to support technology transfer and address technical issues during manufacturing. The role also requires staying updated on regulatory guidelines and industry trends in nutraceuticals and contributing to process improvements and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Research and Development (R&D) and Research, with experience in formulation development for oral solid dosage nutraceuticals.
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and use of analytical tools for formulation evaluation.
- Hands-on Laboratory Skills, including handling of equipment, execution of experiments, documentation of results, and adherence to safety and GMP practices.
- Effective Communication skills for clear technical documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; prior experience in OSD or nutraceutical R&D is preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements relevant to nutraceutical formulations and experience with scale-up and tech transfer is an advantage.
- Ability to work methodically, manage multiple projects, and meet timelines in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
