Ph.D. Opportunity with Fellowship | BIPV Lab | MNIT Jaipur

The Centre for Energy and Environment, Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, invites applications for a full-time Ph.D. position with fellowship in the area of Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) under my supervision.

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates who wish to pursue impactful research in sustainable energy, solar technologies, and energy-efficient buildings.

Research Area

The selected candidate will work on Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), an emerging interdisciplinary field that integrates photovoltaic technologies with building envelopes to support clean energy generation and sustainable infrastructure.

The research will involve concepts from:

Mechanical Engineering | Civil Engineering | Electrical Engineering | Materials Science | Renewable Energy Systems

This work directly contributes to the development of next-generation sustainable, energy-positive, and climate-responsive buildings.

Eligibility

Candidates should have:

• M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline
• Strong academic background and research motivation
• Interest in renewable energy, solar photovoltaics, building energy systems, or interdisciplinary research
• GATE qualification is required to receive scholarship/fellowship as per institute/Government norms
