Role Description The PGT Social role is a full-time teaching position responsible for instructing higher secondary students in social sciences subjects such as history, political science, geography, and related areas.

The educator will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, prepare teaching materials, and use a variety of instructional methods to support different learning styles. Daily responsibilities include assessing student progress, maintaining accurate academic records, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role also involves organizing classroom activities, coordinating projects, supporting exam preparation, and collaborating with other teachers and school staff.

This is an on-site role located in Hyderabad, requiring active participation in school events, parent meetings, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in social sciences, including history, political science, geography, and related disciplines.
• Ability to design lesson plans, develop curriculum-based learning materials, and use diverse teaching methodologies.
• Effective classroom management skills, with the capacity to create an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Proficiency in using basic educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and assessment.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education or in a relevant social science discipline, with appropriate teaching qualifications as per local regulations.
• Prior teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate professional ethics, and participate in school-wide initiatives and activities.
