Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Mathematics to join our senior secondary faculty. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematics and the ability to teach Grades 11 and 12 as per the CBSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to Grades 11 & 12, covering topics such as Algebra, Calculus, Probability, Trigonometry, and Coordinate Geometry.
Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams (e.g., JEE, CUET).
Create and implement lesson plans that enhance students problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Use modern teaching tools, interactive digital platforms, and real-life examples to make math engaging.
Conduct regular assessments, analyse student performance, and provide timely feedback.
Support students with extra classes or remedial sessions, as needed.
Organize and encourage participation in Math Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions.
Collaborate with peers for curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
Stay up to date with CBSE updates and changes in exam patterns.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification: Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics + B.Ed (mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience teaching senior secondary students in a CBSE-affiliated school.
Skills
Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using smart boards, digital tools, and educational software.
Ability to inspire a love for mathematics and analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mentoring students for competitive exams (JEE, Olympiads, etc.).
Familiarity with NEP 2020 and integrated teaching approaches.
Involvement in math clubs, school events, and professional development programs.
