Job Title: PGT Mathematics

Role Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and motivated PGT Mathematics teacher to deliver high-quality instruction as per the CBSE curriculum. The incumbent will be responsible for conceptual teaching, exam preparation, and fostering analytical thinking among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics as per the CBSE syllabus covering topics such as Number Systems, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics, and Trigonometry .
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and practice papers aligned with CBSE board examination patterns.
- Conduct regular assessments, periodic tests, and pre-board examinations; provide timely feedback and remedial support.
- Maintain student progress records and communicate regularly with parents and the academic coordinator.
- Participate in school activities, PTMs, staff development programmes, and contribute to the academic committee as required.
- Use technology, smart classroom tools, and activity-based learning methods to make Mathematics engaging and accessible.
Education
- B.Sc/M.Sc. in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks
- B.Ed. from a recognised university (mandatory)
- NET/STET qualified preferred
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools and techniques is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Prior experience in a CBSE school preferred
