Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Humanities to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have expertise in subjects like History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, or Sociology and a strong understanding of CBSE curriculum guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Humanities subjects to senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that engage and challenge students.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and interdisciplinary learning.
- Prepare students for board exams with structured assessments and guidance.
- Use modern teaching methodologies, including technology integration and interactive activities.
- Maintain academic records, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback.
- Encourage extracurricular participation related to humanities subjects.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and student development.
- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines and best teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree in a relevant Humanities subject (History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, or Sociology) + B.Ed (mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of CBSE syllabus.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students.
- Commitment to professional development and student success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE board exams.
