Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons for Middle and Senior school students (Classes VIXII), aligned with CBSE curriculum.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of historical events and contexts.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and conduct assessments in line with academic standards.
- Incorporate innovative teaching strategies including project-based learning, debates, and use of multimedia.
- Prepare students for board examinations and inter-school competitions.
- Maintain records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school management.
- Participate in curriculum development, department meetings, and school events.
- Uphold classroom discipline and encourage a culture of respect, inquiry, and academic excellence.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Postgraduate degree in History with B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools (e.g., smart boards, Google Classroom).
- Passion for teaching and mentoring adolescents.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
