Job Summary:
RBK International Academy is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of English. The PGT English Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons, foster a love for literature and language, and support students in developing strong communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Implementation: Design and deliver English lessons aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives; develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments
- Classroom Instruction: Conduct interactive, student-centered lessons focused on language skills, literature analysis, writing, and grammar; employ diverse teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles
- Literature Exploration: Introduce students to classics, contemporary literature, poetry, and drama; lead discussions analyzing themes, characters, and cultural contexts
- Writing Skills Development: Guide students in essay composition, creative writing, and critical analysis
- Language Skills Enhancement: Improve students reading comprehension, vocabulary, and communication skills
- Student Engagement: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and curiosity about literature
- Assessment and Feedback: Design and administer quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects; provide constructive feedback to support learning and growth
- Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance, progress, and areas for improvement
- Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in literary clubs, reading initiatives, and other activities that enhance engagement with English language and literature
- Professional Development: Stay updated on educational trends, teaching methodologies, and advancements in English literature; attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions
