PGT English Teacher
This role at JIVA AYURVEDA is for a PGT English Teacher who will organize and deliver engaging classroom lectures and coursework. You'll be responsible for preparing materials, assigning homework, assessing student performance, and providing feedback. This position also involves identifying students with special requirements, managing classroom dynamics, and collaborating with parents and staff to foster a positive student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Curriculum: Organize classroom lectures and coursework, prepare engaging materials and activities, and assign homework and interesting exercises.
- Student Support & Assessment: Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans. Determine exam and assignment grades, and provide feedback based on workload and classroom behavior.
- Classroom Management: Keep a record of student attendance and grades. Manage classroom crises and resolve conflict effectively.
- Communication & Collaboration: Inform parents about their children's performance. Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience.
- Professional Development: Research new language teaching methods to continuously enhance instructional practices.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
- Proven experience as an English teacher at the PGT level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
