Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and academically driven PGT English educator who can inspire senior secondary learners through literature, language, and critical thinking. The ideal candidate will bring subject depth, pedagogical innovation, and a commitment to nurturing confident communicators and analytical thinkers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons for Grades XIXII.
- Prepare students for board examinations by implementing structured academic planning and conducting regular assessments.
- Foster advanced reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills through diverse literary texts.
- Integrate contemporary teaching methodologies, digital tools, and differentiated instruction strategies.
- Design question papers, worksheets, projects, and enrichment material.
- Monitor academic progress and offer constructive feedback to students and their parents.
- Contribute to literary clubs, debates, theatre, creative writing initiatives, and school publications.
- Participate actively in school events, training programs, and academic planning meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in English with B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 35 years of experience teaching senior secondary classes.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Proven track record of producing excellent board results.
