PGT Computer Science to teach
CBSE Grades 912, with a strong focus on
conceptual clarity, practical application, and board exam readiness.
The role requires effective delivery of the CBSE Computer Science curriculum, integration of
NEP 2020 principles, competency-based education, and continuous assessment practices. The teacher will be responsible for both
theory and practical lab sessions, ensuring students are well-prepared for board examinations and future academic pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach CBSE Computer Science (Grades 912) as per latest curriculum guidelines
- Deliver instruction in Python programming, data structures, databases, and computer fundamentals
- Plan and conduct practical lab sessions, projects, and coding exercises
- Design question papers, worksheets, and assessments aligned to CBSE board patterns
- Implement competency-based, experiential, and inquiry-driven learning
- Track student performance through continuous assessments and provide remedial support
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations (Class X & XII)
- Support Olympiads, competitions, and computer science expos (where applicable)
- Maintain proper lab discipline, safety, and digital ethics
- Collaborate with academic leadership and participate in school initiatives
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Computer Science / IT (M.Sc / MCA / M.Tech preferred)
- B.Ed (mandatory)
- Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience at secondary / senior secondary level (CBSE preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CBSE Computer Science curriculum (Grades 912)
- Proficiency in Python, basic data structures, SQL/databases, and computer fundamentals
- Experience with competency-based education, NEP 2020 alignment, and continuous assessment
- Ability to design board-oriented question papers and practical evaluations
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities

- This is a full-time, on-campus role requiring complete professional commitment
- Concurrent employment, freelance work, or private tuition during the academic year is not permitted
- Pursuing any regular academic programme (full-time or part-time) that interferes with school responsibilities is not permissible
