Position Overview

Jain International Residential School, Kanakapura, is inviting applications for the role of PGT – Commerce with the specialisation of Accounting & Business Studies from enthusiastic, qualified, and dedicated professionals to join our academic and residential community.

We are looking for professionals who are committed to academic excellence and the holistic development of students in a residential school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, effective lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures critical thinking and active participation.

• Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and individualized support to students.

• Participate in residential life responsibilities, including evening and weekend duties.

• Collaborate with faculty members in curriculum development, assessments, and innovative teaching methodologies.

• Track and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate academic records.

• Contribute to co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as sports, arts, clubs, and community initiatives.

• Uphold institutional values, policies, and professional standards at all times.

Teaching Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters degree in the relevant subject (Master's preferred).

• B.Ed. is mandatory

• Prior teaching experience, preferably in a residential or boarding school environment.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
