Job Summary
Presidency School, Nandini Layout is looking for a qualified and passionate PGT Biology Teacher to teach Senior Secondary students and help them achieve academic excellence. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology for Grades XI & XII as per CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessment materials.
- Deliver interactive and student-focused classroom sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate students academic performance and progress.
- Conduct practical sessions and guide students in laboratory activities.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, training programs, and parent interactions.
- Maintain academic records and documentation as required by the school.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Biology / Life Sciences along with B.Ed.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience as a PGT Biology Teacher in CBSE schools preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Good understanding of CBSE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in conducting practical and activity-based learning sessions.
