Role Overview
The PGT Accountancy Teacher will be responsible for teaching Accountancy at the Senior Secondary level (Classes XIXII), building strong conceptual clarity in financial accounting, partnership accounts, company accounts, and analysis of financial statements, while preparing students for board examinations and higher studies in commerce.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Accountancy as per CBSE curriculum for Classes XIXII
Prepare lesson plans, numerical worksheets, and study materials
Train students in problem solving and step-wise presentation
Conduct tests, assignments, and periodic assessments
Guide students for board examinations
Support commerce-related projects and practical work
Use smart classroom tools and digital resources where required
Maintain academic discipline and student engagement
Eligibility Criteria
Master's Degree in Commerce / Accountancy
B.Ed. degree (mandatory as per norms)
35 years teaching experience at senior secondary level preferred
Strong knowledge of CBSE syllabus and marking scheme
Good communication and classroom management skills
